What I love about baking is that it allows me to be creative.  I never considered myself to be artistic, but when I bake, I get to be spontaneous and my version of “creative.”  In this case, I was baking a chocolate cake when I decided to pour half the batter into the pan, then dropped cookies on the batter, and then I covered the cookies with the remaining batter. And this was the result. How fun!
